What an AI mention actually tells you
Read the answers behind a mention rate and understand what a small sample can, and cannot, tell your marketing team.
Read the guideAI Search
AI Search for dental support organizations (DSOs) and orthodontic groups. See which locations need attention, read the answers behind each mention, and compare the sources assistants cite instead.
What you receive
01
Review returned answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, including the questions asked and sources when supplied. A mention is a starting point for reading the answer, not proof of a recommendation.
02
Review whether an answer names the local office or brand patients know. Compare measured locations and engines while keeping the underlying answers available to your central team.
03
See which measured locations appear least often and which competitors or sources appear in missed answers. Use the evidence to decide what to investigate with your team.
How it works
Start with local brands, location details, website URLs, and the patient questions in scope.
Inspect the wording, matched names, engines, and available sources behind each result.
Use the answers and supporting sources to agree what to investigate or update, then measure again.
Mention rate is the share of analyzed answers that mention a recognized name. Read it alongside the sample size and coverage. Unmeasured locations and failed requests are not evidence that an office was absent.
Agree the locations, questions, engines, and cadence. Compare like-for-like checks and keep changes in the sample visible when interpreting differences over time.
Keep your existing agency and websites, or discuss having Spawn Partners build and manage the sites. Implementation and website support are agreed separately from measurement.

No. AI answers are sampled through supported provider APIs. Consumer apps may answer differently because of location, account context, wording, and model changes. The report describes the answers collected, not a universal position across every patient’s conversation.
AI Search supplies evidence for deciding what to investigate and improve. Useful location information and website changes can address identified problems, but an AI mention or new patient inquiry is not guaranteed.
Website findings and search position reporting belong in Sites. We agree the measurements and availability separately; AI Search can be used with websites we do not manage.
Yes. AI Search is organized around locations and the names patients know. Website replacement is optional. We confirm the names, URLs, supported measurements, and reporting scope during setup.
Bring a representative location list, local brand names, and website URLs. We walk through the reports and agree the measured locations, cadence, support, and price. Any website or custom software work is scoped separately.
